Curry with UMEBOSHI

Ingredients (5 servings)

Beef (or Chicken, Lamb, Shrimp), chopped 450g
Onions 350g
Carrots 100g
Potatoes 150g
Cooking oil 1 Tbsp
Water 540ml
S&B Golden Curry Mix 92g 1 box(92g)
Rice (cooked) As needed
S&B UMEBOSHI PASTE (SALT-PICKLED PLUM) As needed

Directions

  1. Stir-fry meat and vegetables with oil in a large skillet on medium heat for approx. 5 min.
  2. Add water and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer until ingredients are tender, approx. 15min.
  3. Turn the heat off, break S&B Golden Curry Sauce Mix into pieces and add them to the skillet.
    Stir until sauce mixes are completely melted. Simmer approx. 5 min., stirring constantly.
  4. Put the cooked rice on a plate, then pour the curry sauce over the rice. Serve with S&B UMEBOSHI PASTE.
    The sourness of the Umeboshi adds a refreshing accent to the curry.
