Curry Made with Curry Powder (1 serving)

Ingredients (1 serving)

Pork loin 80 to 100g
【A】 Salt Pinch
Black pepper Pinch
S&B Oriental Curry Powder 1/2 tsp
Onion (minced) 50g
【B】 Garlic (minced) 1/2 tsp
Ginger (minced) 1/2 tsp
Bay leaf 1/2 leaf
Red chili pepper 1/3
S&B Oriental Curry Powder 1/2 Tbsp
Vegetable oil 1 Tbsp
Onion 50g
Carrot 50g
Tomato puree 1 Tbsp
【C】 Hot water 250ml
Chicken bouillon 1/4 cube
Worcestershire sauce 1/2 Tbsp
Salt Pinch
Potato 50 to 70g
Rice (cooked) As needed
Parsley (chopped) Pinch

Directions

  1. Cut the pork into 2 cm pieces. Rub 【A】 into the pork pieces.
  2. Mince 50g of the onion and slice the other 50g.
    Cut the carrot into small bite-size pieces.
  3. Heat the vegetable oil in a pot over medium heat and stir-fry the minced onion.
    Once the onion becomes brown, add 【B】 and stir-fry until the ingredients become fragrant.
    Add the curry powder and blend it well with the ingredients while stirring.
    Add 【1】 and 【2】, and continue to stir-fry. Add the tomato puree and lightly stir-fry. Add 【C】. When the mixture comes to a boil, cover the pot with a lid and simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. Once the carrot pieces are tender, add grated potato and mix well. Simmer to thicken the sauce.
  5. Serve with the rice. Sprinkle the parsley as desired.
