Gyudon (Beef Bowl)

Ingredients (2-3 servings)

Shaved beef 250g
Onion 100g
[A] Soy sauce 2 Tbsp
Sugar 1 1/2 Tbsp
Sake 50ml
Water 100ml
Rice (cooked) As needed
[Toppings] S&B Assorted Chili Pepper (Nanami Togarashi) As needed

Directions

  1. Slice the onions lengthwise.
  2. Put [A] into a pan and bring it to a boil. Add the onion and cook.
  3. Once the onion becomes tender, add the beef. Cook the meat while separating the pieces from time to time so that the pieces do not clump together.
  4. Put the cooked rice into a bowl, then pour [3] over it. Serve with toppings.
