Wasabi ONIGIRI

Ingredients (Two each)

[Rice Balls with Tuna Flakes, Mayonnaise and Wasabi]
Rice (cooked) 200g
Drained canned tuna flakes 20g
Mayonnaise 5g
S&B Wasabi Paste 1/2 tsp or more
Seaweed sheet (for rice balls) 2 slices
[Wasabi and Cheese Rice balls]
Rice (cooked) 200g
Shredded or diced cheese 20g
S&B Wasabi Paste 1 tsp or more
Seaweed sheet (for rice balls) 2 slices

Directions

  1. [Rice Balls with Tuna Flakes, Mayonnaise and Wasabi]
    Mix together tuna flakes, mayonnaise and wasabi.
    Place half the amount of the cooked rice on your palm. Put half of the mixed ingredients in the center of the rice, then shape the rice into a triangle. Wrap a seaweed sheet around the rice ball. Make 2 rice balls.
  2. [Wasabi and Cheese Rice balls]
    Put cooked rice (cooled to room temperature) in a bowl and mix in cheese and wasabi.
    Divide the rice into half portions. Shape a half portion of rice into a triangle and wrap the seaweed around the rice ball.
    * Adjust the amount of wasabi as desired.
