Cut the beef into bite-sized pieces.
Combine the soy sauce, sugar, and sake in a pan and bring to a boil over medium heat.
Add the beef, and while loosening it, simmer until the liquid has evaporated.

Pour the soup stock into another pan. Add the soy sauce, sugar, and salt, and bring to a boil.
- Serve hot udon in a bowl, pour over the piping-hot [2], and top with [1], UMAMI TOPPING, and chopped green onions.
