This statement is made pursuant to section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 of the United Kingdom ("the Act"). It outlines the commitment, policies and approach of S&B FOODS INC. and its group companies ("the Group") to preventing slavery and human trafficking within their own business and supply chains during the fiscal year ended 31 March 2026.
Organisational Structure and Business
S&B FOODS INC. was founded in 1923 and is headquartered in Japan. We are the parent company of the Group. The Group has business operations in six countries across the world, employing over 2,000 people across its global sites including in Japan, the United Kingdom, the United States of America, Canada, Singapore and Thailand.
The Group's primary business is the production and distribution of a wide range of food products, consisting of four main product categories: spices and herbs, curry and stew sauce mixes, spicy condiments, instant foods and other related products.
Through these product categories, the Group caters to a wide range of customer needs in markets including Europe.
Supply Chains
The Group sources a wide range of raw materials and other materials from suppliers around the world, including both intra-group companies and third-party suppliers, and sells products manufactured using those materials through distribution networks worldwide.
Policies and Commitment
The Group's commitment to respecting human rights and conducting business responsibly is reflected in its Human Rights Policy, Code of Conduct and other relevant policies.
The Group has established a Human Rights Policy, which sets out its approach to respecting human rights in its business activities and supply chain. The Policy is publicly available on our global website and is reviewed and updated as necessary.
