Roast Beef Salad with Wasabi Sauce Trio (Salad Dressing)

Ingredients (4 servings)

Beef round block
200 g
1/2 tsp
1 tsp
Vegetable oil 1 Tbsp
【A】 Salted wasabi sauce S&B Wasabi Paste 1 Tbsp
Water 2 Tbsp
Salt As needed
【B】 Wasabi soy sauce S&B Wasabi Paste 1 Tbsp
Soy sauce 2 tsp
Mirin (sweet cooking sake) 2 tsp
【C】 Wasabi cream sauce S&B Wasabi Paste 1 Tbsp
Mayonnaise 2 tsp
Dairy cream 2 Tbsp
Salad vegetables of your choice 200 g
Orange As needed


  1. Allow the meat to reach room temperature. Rub the meat with salt and sugar and leave for about 15 minutes.
  2. Put vegetable oil into a frying pan and saute the beef over medium heat for 4 minutes on each wide side, and 2 minutes on each narrow side.
  3. Double-wrap the roast in aluminum foil. Wrap the aluminum foil-wrapped roast in a towel and let it sit for about 40 minutes before slicing.
    1. Mix together the ingredients listed for each of the three sauces to make three different wasabi sauces.
  4. Wash and drain the vegetables for the salad.
    Put as many slices of roast beef as you like on the salad. Enjoy with a sauce of your choice.
