Wasabi Flavored Crab Cakes Using Crab Sticks

Ingredients (Easy-to-prepare amount)

Crab sticks 200 g / 7 oz
Onion (minced) 200 g / 7 oz
Panko (Japanese breadcrumbs) 40 g / 1.4 oz
Cream cheese 100 g / 3.5 oz
S&B Wasabi Paste 3 Tbsp
Chives 30 g / 1 oz
Egg 1
Flour 4 Tbsp
Mayonnaise 4 Tbsp
Panko (Japanese breadcrumbs) As needed
Butter As needed
【Garnish】 Broccoli (Sautéed) As needed
Small onions (Sautéed) As needed
Mint As needed
Lemon As needed


  1. Cut the crab sticks into 2 cm pieces and then break them into flakes. Mince the onion, and chop the chives into 1 cm pieces.
  2. Mix all the ingredients well.
  3. Divide【2】into 10 pieces, shape them into thick round cakes, and coat them with panko.
  4. Heat the butter in a frying pan, put【3】in, and fry over medium low heat until nicely brown.
  5. Serve with the garnish according to your choice and squeeze the lemon over the crab cakes when eating.
