Sweet and Spicy Cold Soba with Umami Topping

Ingredients (2 servings)

Pork, thinly sliced 150g / 5.2oz
Onion, thinly sliced 1/2
Green onion, finely sliced 5cm
Cucumber, cut into fine strips 1
【A】 Water 200ml
Granulated broth 1 Tsp
Soy sauce 2 Tbsp
Sweet sake (mirin) 3 Tbsp
Sugar 1 Tsp
Soba noodle 2 portions
S&B UMAMI TOPPING Crunchy Garlic with Chili oil 6 Tsp
【Noodle soup】 Soy sauce 2 Tbsp
Sweet sake (mirin) 2 Tbsp
Water 400ml
Granulated broth 1/2 tsp


  1. Put ingredients of 【Noodle soup】 in a pan and bring to a boil. Then cool it down.
  2. Put ingredients of 【A】 in an another pan. Add onion, and turn the heat on.
    After it comes to a boil, add pork.
    Simmer until the liquid almost evaporates, stirring constantly.
  3. Turn the heat off, add S&B UMAMI TOPPING and mix well.
  4. Boil soba noodles with plenty of hot water.
    Rinse under cold water and drain thoroughly. Plate the noodles.
  5. Put ③ on the noodles and top with green onion and cucumber. Pour 【Noodle soup】 of ① over it.
