Curry Calzone

Ingredients (For 4 pieces)

【Dough】 Bread flour 170 g
Cake flour 50 g
Dry yeast 1 tsp
Sugar 1 Tbsp
Salt 1/2 tsp
Water 130 ml
Olive oil 1/2 Tbsp
【Curry filling】 S&B Golden Curry Sauce Mix 92g 1 block (approx. 20 g)
Water 15 ml
Mushrooms 2 (approx. 30 g)
Fresh basil 8 to 10 leaves
Vegetable oil 1 Tbsp
Onion 30 g
Tomato 40 g
Cheese (melting type) 40 g
Bacon 40 g
Olive oil 1/2 Tbsp


  1. 【Preparation】 Preheat an oven to 220-230℃ (430-450℉).
  2. Put all dough ingredients other than water in a bowl, mix together well, and then, adding the water, knead the dough.
  3. Once the dough is smooth, make it into a ball, cover the bowl with plastic wrap, and then let it rise in a warm place until expanded to 1.5 times the original size.
    1. Finely chop the S&B Golden Curry Sauce Mix 92g with a knife, add water, and heat in a microwave oven. Repeat heating and mixing several times to make a smooth sauce.
    2. Slice the mushrooms and onion, and cut the bacon into pieces 1 cm wide. Cut the tomato into 1 cm dices.
  4. Split 【2】 into 4 equal parts and roll out each part into a disk.
    Then, spread 【Filling ①】 over one side of the disk, and put 【Filling ②】, melting type cheese and basil on top, fold the disk in half and seal it shut.
  5. Coat its surface with olive oil, and bake it in an oven for 12 to 15 minutes until golden brown.
