Tofu katsu curry

Ingredients (5 servings)

Onion, sliced 3 (600 g)
Ginger, grated 20 g
Water 800 cc
S&B Golden Curry Mix 92 g 1 pack
Vegetable oil 2 tbsp
Soy sauce 4 tbsp
Vinegar 2 tsp
Rice, cooked 5 x 200 g
【Tofu katsu】 Tofu (firm) 5 pack
All purpose flour 3 tbsp
Panko or breadcrumbs 60g
Salt Pinch
Vegetable oil As needed for frying
All purpose flour 3 tbsp
Water 5 tbsp


  1. Stir-fry onions with oil in a large pan until they become wilted. Add grated ginger and stir-fry well.
  2. Add water and bring to boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer until ingredients are tender, approx. 10min.
  3. Turn the heat off, break S&B Golden Curry Mix into pieces and add them to the pan.
  4. Stir until sauce mixes are completely melted. Simmer approx. 5min. stirring constantly. Add soy sauce and vineger.
    【Tofu katsu】
    1. Wrap tofu in kitchen paper and cook in a microwave at 600W for 2 min. Wrap again in paper for 30 min. and drain well.
    2. Sprinkle salt and coat with flour, (A), panko in order. Heat oil to 180℃ and fry it.
  5. Place rice on a plate, serve curry sauce and top with Tofu katsu. Garnish with your favorite fresh vegetables, as desired.
