Tasty White Stew in a Cup

Ingredients (4 servings)

【Steamed Chicken: Easy-to-prepare amount】 Chicken breast 300g
【A】 Sugar 1/2 tsp
Salt 2/3 tsp
Sake 1 Tbsp
Canned chickpeas 80g
S&B Tasty White Stew Mix 2 blocks (25g x 2)
Water 300ml
Milk 100ml


  1. Prepare the 【Steamed Chicken】.
    Bring the chicken breast (300g) to room temperature and prick the entire surface of the chicken using a fork.
    Put the chicken breast in a bowl and rub in 【A】 in the order listed. Cover with plastic food wrap and heat it for 3 minutes and 30 seconds at 600 W in a microwave oven. Allow it to stay warm for 5 minutes and then cut it into bite-size pieces.
    Drain the chickpeas.
  2. Put the broken blocks of stew mix into an microwaveable soup bowl or a large mug and pour in hot water about 80 degrees. Mix to melt the stew mix.
  3. Cover with a plastic wrap and cook in a microwave oven at 600 W for 2 minutes. Remove the plastic wrap and mix well. Add 【1】 and milk, and cover the container with plastic wrap again. Cook in a microwave oven for 1 minute and 30 seconds.
    * Canned tuna may be used instead of steamed chicken for an equally satisfying result.
