Hayashi Rice Omelet

Ingredients (4 servings)

Beef (sliced) 200 g
Onion (sliced) 100 g
Vegetable Oil 1 Tbsp
S&B Tasty Hayashi Rice (Gravy Mix) 160g 1/2 pack
Water 400 ml
【Omelet】 Egg 8
Milk 4 Tbsp
Salt Pinch
Butter 20 g
Rice (cooked) 800 g


  1. Heat the oil in a pan and stir-fry onions until wilted. Add beef and stir-fry well.
  2. Add the amount of water and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for 20 min.
    Turn off the heat and break S&B Tasty Hayashi Rice (Gravy Mix) into pieces and add them to the pan.
    Stir until the sauce mix is completely melted. Simmer over low heat until thickened.
    1. Whisk together eggs, milk and salt in a bowl.
    2. For each omelet, melt 5g butter in a skillet.
      Add 1/4 of the egg mixture to the pan and scramble eggs until just set and fluffy.
  3. Place rice on a plate, top with the omelet, and pour 【2】 over.
